AD/HD & Difficulty With Boundary Setting
Struggling with Boundary Setting In The Face of AD/HD: Setting healthy boundaries is challenging for anyone, but it can feel especially overwhelming when living with
Sometimes in life we can face challenges that present themselves as mountains we may not be able to see through, let alone pass through. We might not know where this mountain came from, or how it got to be so big. It could present itself in form of challenging relationship(s), the way we feel inside, problems with school or work; but why climb it alone? With the right set of tools, skills, knowledge and support; along with determination and hard work no mountain has the chance of standing in your way!
If you are feeling stuck, confused, scared, overwhelmed, lost or angry due to such reasons as mood (anxiety, depression), relationship issues, certain changes in life (eg. immigration/acculturation), work or school issues/stress, self-esteem issues, grief or loss, then counselling can help. Maybe you have been through a traumatic incident that is impacting you now, in that case specialized trauma therapies such as EMDR, Somatic Therapies, or Internal Family Systems Therapy might be for you.
Why climb the mountain alone? It would be our privilege to be by your side as you climb the boulder of life and conquer the challenges standing in your way; only to find your best self on the other side!
