About Shadan

I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with five years of experience working with children, adults, and families. Over the years, my work has shown me one profound truth: we are often hurt in relationships, and we heal through them.

Within our therapeutic relationship, I aim to create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your life story through your own eyes, to understand what has shaped you, what still hurts, and what is ready to be released. Healing, to me, is not about forgetting; it’s about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that deserve care, acceptance, and peace.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I also work closely with parents who want to strengthen their connection with their children and enhance their parenting style.

I understand that life can sometimes feel confusing or heavy, and it takes courage to reach out for help. I offer a warm, understanding space where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and learn new ways to care for yourself. I work with adults to help them understand and embrace the parts of themselves that are often hidden beneath anxiety, depression, or ADHD. I also support parents in discovering their most authentic and confident parenting style, free from the pressures of societal expectations. 

I provide services both in English & Farsi, and offer 15 minute complementary consultation.
